Alberto Cassia

Alberto Cassia brings experience in EU policy, international relations and regulatory research, gained across institutional, diplomatic and NGO environments.
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in European Studies from SIOI, a Master’s degree in International Relations and Supranational Institutions from Sapienza University of Rome, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Catania. He also studied in Brussels as part of the Erasmus programme.
Previous experience
Alberto managed EU-funded mobility programmes, working closely with students, staff and European institutions. At the Embassy of Mexico in Italy, he supported trade promotion activities between the two countries through research and the coordination of institutional events.
As an EU policy research intern, he monitored policy developments and analysed public opinion trends relating to the European Green Deal. He also gained experience in digital communications, contributing to an NGO’s newsletters, editorial content and social media presence.
Alberto speaks Italian, English and Spanish and is currently improving his French.
